Pedrosa Still Uncertain For Barcelona
The collarbone Dani Pedrosa broke in Le Mans remains a problem for the Spaniard. Pedrosa fractured his right collarbone in the crash with Marco Simoncelli which saw the Italian penalized and stirred up a good deal of controversy. Coming as it did just a few weeks after Pedrosa had finally had the plate removed from his left collarbone, which had been partially blocking his brachial artery and causing Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, the fracture caused a massive dilemma for the Spaniard: should he plate the collarbone and attempt to return to racing as quickly as possible, and go through the misery and stress of worrying about a repeat of his previous experience, or should he be patient and wait for the bone to heal naturally, potentially missing two or three races and writing off any chance he may have for the title?

A bold new direction for IT
After eight years and more than 800 suggested solutions to various problems, Advice Line is poised for a new direction. This is in large part a strategic response to the challenges IT will face in the years ahead. Whereas Advice Line to date has been focused on the present, suggesting solutions to problems at hand, starting next week this space will be devoted to providing strategic and practical advice to IT leaders seeking to push their organizations beyond today's hunkered-down, budget-driven, can't-please-anyone way of running things.
Judge to MTV Star -- Stay AWAY From Baby Daddy!
Filed under: Jennifer Del Rio, Josh Smith, 16 and Pregnant, MTV, Celebrity Justice
One of the moms on MTV's "16 and Pregnant" ... is now 17 and legally banned from going anywhere near her baby daddy ... TMZ has learned.19-year-old Josh Smith got a huge victory in a Florida courtroom Tuesday ... when a judge granted his request for a restraining order against his baby mama Jennifer Del Rio.
As TMZ previously reported, both teens wanted restraining orders against each other -- but Jennifer didn't show up on the scheduled court date ... so Josh won by default and Jen's request was thrown out.
According to court docs, Jennifer must stay at least 100 feet away from Josh at all times -- and she's also banned from hanging around his car and his house.
As for their twin boys -- the documents show Josh and Jen are still temporarily sharing custody until a more permanent agreement can be locked into place.

Dodgers have plenty of smoke, and fire, but no spark in 6-1 loss to Marlins
Dodgers put up little resistance on a night when a blaze at Dodger Stadium sends smoke over the field in middle innings. No evacuation is necessary, though the team itself barely shows up at all.
IBM's mobile strategy: Anybody but HP or Microsoft
Big Blue doesn't make a smartphone or a tablet, doesn't have its own mobile OS, and doesn't make glitzy commercials touting its mobile strategy. But IBM is quietly increasing its mobile footprint with offerings keyed to enterprise collaboration and a multiplatform strategy that features compatibility from devices running Apple's iOS, Research in Motion's BlackBerry, and Google's Android.
There's one other thing that IBM doesn't do these days: make and sell PCs. And that's one reason why its push for mobile devices is such a good strategic fit.
